Kenya Orient Insurance offers an enhanced Motor Warranty policy that protects your vehicle in the event of unexpected electrical or mechanical failure after the manufacturer's warranty has expired.Scope of the Cover
The components of the Policy encompass three available plans:- Platinum
- Gold
- Silver
Policy Requirements
The policy is available provided that the vehicle:- Is less than 12 years old
- Can be used for domestic and social purposes only
- Is used for domestic, social and pleasure purposes in connection with the insured's business or profession
- Undergo a comprehensive vehicle inspection
- Is not operated as a taxi, PSV or private hire or used for rallying and racing
- Has not been modified or altered from the time it left the manufacturer unless recommended
Exclusions
- Defective workmanship/repair
- Normal wear and tear
- Theft
- Accidental damage
- Parts not specified as per the policy schedule
- Mechanical/Electrical breakdown occurring within the first 30 days
- Normal maintenance and service items
