About this product

This is a product by ABC bank. It is designed to provide Medical Insurance cover for Kenyans living in the Diaspora.

What does the Plan cover

The plan covers both in-patient and out-patient. Some of the services covered include Admission in an NHIF accredited hospital, Doctors fees, Laboratory investigations.Outpatient procedures e.g. dressings, Expenses of the eye, ear and dental testing and treatment arising out of sickness or accidents and Physiotherapist’s fees. Additional benefits: Pre-existing, HIV/AIDS and chronic conditions covered up to the sub limits.

Who is eligible for the cover?

  • Children between the Age of 1 month and 18 years.
  • Adults between the age of 18 years and 75 years.
NB. Admission of persons above 55 years is subject to the receipt of a medical report.  

What plans does abcD have?

Insurance is usually paid in premiums and to make it easier for payment and comparison,plans sold to individuals are grouped in standardized tiers. AbcD health plans are not identified by any specific names, they are identified by the limits which range between KES 100,000 - 500,000 for in-patient cover and KES 50,000 - 100,000 for the family cover.
